The Binar Space Program has flown four WA-built small satellites (Binar-1 through Binar-4) over nearly a decade of mission experience. The next step discussed in the WA space sector is a larger, more capable platform — one that could carry more advanced payloads, target satellite-constellation customers, and underpin a long-term WA satellite manufacturing capability. The longer-term ambition is for Binar to grow into a Western-Australian-headquartered commercial satellite capability — a trajectory we believe in and are designing data infrastructure to support.
