IT support for sites a town provider will not drive to

Most IT providers cover the town. We cover everywhere past it.

If your site is hours down a dirt road, you know the problem. People quote you. Then they find out how far away you are. Or they come once and never come back.

We come to site
Getting there

We come to site

We do not run remote sites from a desk in Perth. We drive out. We fly out. We turn up.

How often depends on the site. A single clinic on one link is a different job from a service running several, so we work the schedule out with you rather than sell you a number that suits us.

Between trips we manage the gear remotely. Most faults never wait for anyone to travel.

Where we go

Pilbara, remote WA and the Northern Territory

We work across the Pilbara, Kimberley, Goldfields and Mid West. We also work in the Northern Territory. We drive or fly out of Perth.

One thing, said plainly. In Karratha or Port Hedland town, a local shop will do it cheaper. They are down the road. We are not. Let them.

Ring us when the site is past that. A clinic on a community. A camp. A station. The places where “we'll send someone this afternoon” was never a real offer.

What we do out there
The work

What we do out there

We set up satellite internet and a backup link, so the site keeps working when one drops out. We stage hardware before we leave and keep spares on site.

We clean the red dust out of the machines. We check the cables. We fix the printing that has bothered reception for months. We show staff how to use the systems. We show them how to spot a dodgy email.

You can read what a trip looks like in our write-up from the Pilbara.

Straight answers

Straight answers about remote work.

What the work involves, and where we are the wrong call.

Do you actually come to site?

Yes. We drive or fly out. How often depends on the site — a single clinic on one link is a different job from a service running several — so we work the schedule out with you rather than quote a number that suits us. Between visits we manage the gear remotely, and most faults never wait for anyone to travel.

What counts as a remote site?

Anywhere a town IT provider will not drive to. Community clinics, remote health services, camps, stations, ranger bases and small councils. If you are hours past the last town on the highway, that is us. In Karratha or Port Hedland town, a local shop will do it cheaper. Let them.
